Yashraj Mukhate, who became famous with the ‘Rasode me kaun tha?‘ reel, released his first original song ‘Rasmalai‘ under his own music label ‘YM Originals’.
“This song is my love letter for my most favourite dessert, Rasmalai!” he said in a video posted on Instagram. Within just a few hours of release, the song has mesmerized people whose lyrics go as “Aye Rasmalai! Tu dikhayi de rahi lazeez si hai, Naam phir kyu zindagi hai“.
The song is composed by Yashraj himself along with programming/mixing; and mastering done by Ajinkya Dhapare of ‘The Sonic Station’, Guitars/Mandolin by Shomu Seal, and lyrics are written by Alok Ranjan Srivastava. Also, it is distributed by Voilà! Digi which is famous for releasing music with popular YouTubers like Sourav Joshi Vlogs and Mumbiker Nikhil.
Earlier this week, Yashraj Mukhate shared the logo of ‘YM Originals‘ on Instagram which has been designed by Mihir Lele, founder of Mumbai-based design studio, 650 ML STUDIOS.
On that Instagram post, talking about his dream of releasing original songs, Yashraj said, “Bass baat ye hai ki famous hoke 3 saal ho jayenge iss hafte. Aur apne khudke gaane release karne the bohot din se apne channel pe. Aur mujhe laga ye 3rd anniversary sahi time rahega iske liye.“
Yes, it has been 3 years since his ‘Rasode me kaun tha?‘ dialogue-remixed reel went viral on social media. Posted on 20 August 2020, that video has now crossed 93 Million views on YouTube, and 16 Million views on Instagram.
This viral video gave him fame which Yashraj is now planning to use for the distribution of his original songs under his own label ‘YM Originals’.
