Aspirants, a web series focused on the UPSC Civil Services Examination and produced by the popular YouTube channel ‘The Viral Fever’ (TVF) is coming soon with its second season on Amazon Prime Video.
Sharing a poster of the web series on Instagram a few days ago, The Viral Fever said, “The journey continues with even more determination! Aspirants Season 2 is here to make you believe in the power of dreams.“
Now the release date has also been declared. Aspirants Season 2 will be premiering on Amazon Prime Video on 25 October 2023.
The first season of Aspirants, produced in collaboration with the edtech giant, Unacademy premiered in 2021 on TVF’s YouTube channel in a series of 5 episodes, and the new season is coming on the OTT app Prime Video.
A first-of-its-kind web series, Aspirants received a lot of appreciation from viewers for portraying the lives of UPSC aspirants in a very realistic way showing the challenges and struggles that aspirants face while preparing for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) which is considered one of the toughest competitive exams in India.
The story revolves around the past and present of three friends, Abhilash, Guri and SK, who are UPSC aspirants. The past explains their UPSC aspirant life in Old Rajinder Nagar, Delhi and their struggle to crack the examination, while the present examines their lives outside the Rajinder Nagar as adults.
A coming-of-age web series produced by TVF and created by Arunabh Kumar and Shreyansh Pandey, Aspirants stars Naveen Kasturia (Abhilash), Shivankit Parihar (Guri), Abhilash Thapliyal (SK), Namita Dubey and Sunny Hinduja (Sandeep).
With a rating of 9.2 on IMDb, Aspirants has become so popular among students and everyone that it has seen two spin-offs in just two years. SK Sir Ki Class and Sandeep Bhaiya, both premiered in 2023, are two great shows that originated from the two characters of the Aspirants series, SK and Sandeep which also became a great hit.
Now the second season of the Aspirants web series is coming on Amazon Prime Video which is scheduled to premiere soon as a part of its festive release along with movies like The Burial, and The Other Zoey premiering this October.
