Komal Chaturvedi MotionGility Founder Story

Meet Komal Chaturvedi, co-founder and CEO at MotionGility which is an animated explainer video company based in Indore. She started her journey working at TCS, and now her agency works with international brands helping them achieve their marketing goals through captivating explainer videos.

Indore, known for its rich culture and heritage, wasn’t an obvious choice for a creative animation studio, but Komal saw it as a land of untapped opportunities. She co-founded MotionGility in 2015 and, in no time, expanded the services to the USA, UK and Canada.

Under her leadership, MotionGility has empowered its staff to strive for excellence in the delivery of its services. With a team based in Indore as well as Pennsylvania in US, they have managed to work with global brands like ADNOC, Pfizer, HDFC, Nissan, Unilever, AutoDesk and many more.

Beginning of the Journey

Inspired by the likes of Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Mukesh Ambani, and other successful entrepreneurs, Komal badly wanted to become a part of a budding startup and make her aspirations come true.

Back at school, she was a brilliant student achieving excellent grades in all subjects. Considering her profound interest in how technologies and products are developed, she decided to study Computer Science. Then she got a job at TCS, one of the largest and top IT companies in India.

Komal started MotionGility with her childhood friend Himanshu Chaturvedi, who not only happens to be the co-founder and director of the company but also her better half.

While she was working at TCS, Himanshu approached her with the idea of creating creative videos. Upon research, they found out that their purpose of helping brands market their products creatively can be achieved by producing explainer videos, that too while sitting in the lap of a Tier-2 Indian city.

Considering the potential it held, they both decided to give it a shot and established MotionGility to help brands attain their product marketing goals.

Himanshu holds a Diploma in Animation as well as a degree in education from Cambridge University. Whereas, she holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science.

Initially, he was working with an animation studio where he badly wanted to channel his inner creativity and create something worthy for the market.

One day, he quit his job and began his entrepreneurship journey which has now become a full-fledged animation studio making explainer videos for global brands.

Becoming a Global Explainer Video Agency

From the beginning, Komal’s vision for MotionGility was clear — to become a leading name in the animation and explainer video production industry across the globe.

Knowing the potential of digital marketing, she made sure that the company was adopting the latest technologies and trends in the industry.

Their strategic approach allowed the company to reach a global audience and grab the attention of top brands such as ADNOC, Pfizer, HDFC, Nissan, Unilever, AutoDesk, etc., to name a few.

As a result of their supreme work quality, their videos found their way into marketing campaigns, training modules, and sales pitches for companies covering multiple industries. Here’s an example of an explainer video they created for the popular car company, Nissan.

Currently, the company is progressing at determined levels in terms of overall growth. “We aspire to scale our team to 250 members and establish offices in other global locations apart from the United States,” said Komal Chaturvedi talking about the future plan for MotionGility.

In the world of business, it’s often said that success is a team effort, and Komal and Himanshu are perfect examples of this.
