CA Nandini Agarwal YouTube Journey

Chartered Accountant (CA) and content creator Nandini Agrawal has revealed her strategic roadmap for building a successful social media presence while maintaining a full-time corporate job.

Speaking in a video on her YouTube channel, the creator explained how consistency, strict ethical standards, and weekend planning allowed her to build an audience across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.

Agrawal emphasized that working professionals do not need to quit their jobs or achieve immediate viral success to establish a valuable digital asset.

She urged aspiring creators to focus on long-term value creation rather than chasing quick financial returns during their initial launch phase.

Agrawal began her content creation journey in June 2022 by posting career guidance for accounting students on LinkedIn.

She chose the professional platform because text posts required less production time than producing high-effort video content.

By December 2022, she opened her Instagram account to the public and launched her YouTube channel two months later.

She initially recorded quick one-minute videos in hotel rooms while traveling for management consulting assignments.

The creator admitted her early YouTube videos generated fewer than 200 views. However, she maintained a strict routine of uploading once a week to build consistency and overcome perfectionism.

Agrawal advised new creators against attempting early monetization during their first two years. Chasing early income often forces creators to produce clickbait rather than genuine educational content, she said.

Maintaining strict ethical standards is another crucial pillar of long-term digital branding, according to Agrawal.

She revealed that she routinely declines lucrative sponsorship offers from real-money gaming apps and peer-to-peer lending platforms.

She stated that gambling companies offered to pay double or triple her standard sponsorship rate. However, she rejected those deals to protect the trust of her student audience.

Balancing a corporate job with weekly content production requires strict time management on weekends. Agrawal relies on freelance video editors and thumbnail designers to manage technical post-production while she focuses on script preparation.

Nandini Agrawal first gained national attention in September 2021 when she became the youngest person to secure All India Rank one in the Chartered Accountancy final examinations at age 19.

She later joined PwC and management consulting firm Boston Consulting Group before expanding into educational content.

Her YouTube audience experienced a major boost in March 2023 following a featured appearance on the motivational media platform Josh Talks. The appearance helped her channel gain over 10,000 subscribers and established her as a prominent career mentor for Indian finance students.
