Meet Ankit Singh, a 25-year-old wrestler and fitness influencer from Haryana who recently made a buzz on the Internet for his ‘75-day hard challenge‘ by uploading a video per day showing his desi workout for 75 days continuously. He is again in the headlines for joining our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in the ‘Swachchhta hi Seva‘ cleanliness drive.
He hails from Bayanpur in the Sonipat district, so created his social media profile as Ankit Baiyanpuria. Coming from a very humble beginning, even he would not have thought about becoming a viral sensation on the Internet. But today, he is known by millions of people becoming an example of self-discipline and hard work.
Sharing a video of him on social media, PM Modi wrote, “Today, as the nation focuses on Swachhata, Ankit Baiyanpuriya and I did the same! Beyond just cleanliness, we blended fitness and well-being also into the mix. It is all about that Swachh and Swasth Bharat vibe!“

Life Story of Ankit Baiyanpuria
Born and brought up in a lower-middle-class family in Haryana, Ankit Bhaiyanpuria began his wrestling journey at the tender age of 13. He has been very disciplined about exercises, workouts and fitness since childhood.
His father is a farmer and his mother is a homemaker. Ankit himself has been working as a daily wager in different kinds of work from an early age. He even worked at construction sites for some time and various other odd jobs.
In 2017, he started a YouTube channel named ‘Haryanvi Khagad’ where he used to upload comedy sketches but stopped making videos just after a year seeing no results. Then in 2021, he renamed the channel to ‘Ankit Baiyanpuria’ and started making fitness content sharing his workouts and exercises which proved to be a great success.
In 2022, he got a shoulder injury during his mud wrestling days which forced Ankit to shift gears. He even worked as a delivery boy in Zomato to meet his medical expenses. Fighting with all these struggles, he continued making videos on YouTube and Instagram inspiring millions of people about fitness and health.
The 75-day Hard Challenge
One fine day, Ankit was researching about fitness on the Internet when he came across Andy Frisella’s ‘75-day Hard Challenge‘.
This challenge includes daily tasks like taking a selfie, sticking to a strict diet with no alcohol or cheat meals, drinking plenty of water, reading books, and doing outdoor workouts regardless of the weather conditions. Failing to complete any of these tasks means restarting the challenge from Day 1. Ankit took on this challenge to test and at the same time boost his mental toughness.
On June 27, he started the ’75-day Hard Challenge’ and gradually his videos started to gain attention on Instagram. Soon he became an Internet sensation forging a deep connection with the people with his unique greeting ‘Ram Ram sarya ne‘.
The day Ankit completed his ’75-day Hard Challenge’, all social media records were broken with respect to the number of followers he got and the kind of impact he created on millions of people’s minds.
Today, his Instagram account has more than 5 million followers and around 2 million subscribers on YouTube. He is now one of the most sought-after influencers by brands and media platforms. Recently, he even joined PM Modi in the cleanliness drive ‘Swachchhta hi seva‘.
His journey from starting wrestling at a tender age, doing odd jobs as a daily wager, trying content on YouTube back in the days when he uploaded comedy videos in Haryanvi, to becoming a social media sensation and influencing millions of people towards fitness, is a true testament to grit, hard work, mental toughness and self-discipline.
