Ankur Warikoo, an entrepreneur and a popular content creator known for his finance videos, launched his third book named ‘Make Epic Money’ with Penguin Random House India which aims to be a money manual for the new generation.
Warikoo’s earlier two books, Do Epic Shit and Get Epic Shit Done have been bestsellers and the new book on money management is also on the row as it tries to revolutionise the way GenZ people think about, earn, spend and invest money.
He launched the book through a live virtual masterclass on money management held on November 26 which was attended by over 140K people online. Within the first hour of launch, he also received more than 5000 book orders. The Make Epic Money book is now available for pre-order and it will be released in January 2024.
Today, there are many books on money and personal finance and even Ankur believes that the world doesn’t need another book on money. But then he says that most books on money are technical, intimidating, verbose and boring to read and they do a terrific job of making the reader feel “I must be really dumb.”
He says, “Make Epic Money is the book that I wish I was given when I was young. Something that school, college, my family should have taught me but never did. So here I am, trying to fill in for them.“
People love Ankur’s videos on finance, money and even general advice for life, and due to the love and appreciation for his content he has managed to amass over 3 Million subscribers on YouTube and over 10 Million followers across all social media platforms.
Prior to doing content creation full-time, Ankur Warikoo was the CEO and co-founder of the deal-discovery platform, Nearbuy.com which was later acquired by the payments firm Paytm. Now, he runs an online learning platform, WebVeda which offers online courses on time management, communication skills, entrepreneurship and content creation.
